I am astounded at how hard my Young family is to research!I have been unable to locate any death information on my great-great-grandmother.I found her husband, Felix Oliver Young, who is buried in Oakland, California, but I have not been able to find anything on her. Unfortunately, I do not have any information on her, except I do know that she died between the years 1906-1908. Her husband Felix died Sept 1908 and his death certificate said he was a widower. His obituary states he lived in California 20 years prior to his death, which means so did Matilda. Please, is there anyone out there who can help me find the obituary for Matilda Young?I know 2 years is a big task, but it is all the information I have on her. She was Roman Catholic, so I believe she might be buried in a catholic cemetery.Felix was also Roman Catholic, but he is not buried in a catholic cemetery and I do not know why, other than he was poor.So I understand that just because you are of a certain religious faith, does not mean you will be buried in a cemetery of your denomination. From records I have, apparently they liked to travel between San Francisco and Los Angeles. So, as a best guess, I would think that she was either buried in the San Francisco area, Alameda County area, or possibly down in Los Angeles.Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to help me locate my great-great-grandmother's obituary.
