Hello Rachel...Did Ramon also go by the name Arthur? I'm not related to any of these families, but I did find where there was a little 3 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Amavisca of Parlier who passed away in 1943. It lists her grandmothers as Mrs. Alena Terazon of Parlier and Mrs. Ricardo Amavisca of Corcoran, and a grandfather, Ricardo Amavisca of Corcoran. She was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery. This article was published in The Fresno Bee Republican on September 19, 1943.
There is also an obit from September 27, 1960 for Ceasario Corrales. He was survived by his widow Elena; sons, Thomas of Suisun, Solano County, and Raymond of Fresno; daughters, Mrs. Alice Amavisca of Corcoran, Kings County, and Mrs. Virginia Carretero of Los Angeles and 12 grandchildren.
Another one is an obit for Dolores Hernandez from June 22, 1966. It lists her brothers as Ernest, Santos and Albert Amavisca, and sister Mrs. Carlota Navarro.
I would be glad to email you copies of these actual articles if you don't have them and they connect to your family. I see other articles with this name, but I didn't know what all you were looking for. Have a good day!
