I'm trying one more time to get some info on the Clark brothers who lived in the Inyo area (Owensville & Bishop Creek) in the 1860's and 1870's. The names I have are: John, William, Milton S. and Thomas. The info I have so far is that Milton S. was a school teacher in Bishop. Mount Tom was named for Thomas who climbed the mountain in the early 1860's. William traveled to Iowa in 1872 and married Dorcas Turner and then returned to Bishop Creek to have a daughter, Fannie B. Clark in 1873. William died that same year. My grandmother Fannie B. wrote that she was the 1st child born in Bishop Creek. Some of the above info came from the book "The Story Of Inyo". Any help is greatly appreciated.
