He was buried Holy Cross Cemetery, San Franciso Lot # DVS2ag113. Winnifred buried: Holy Cross, San Francisco, CA (no grave marker)Lot # DVS2ag113
Conflicting records:Winifred, Edna, brother John and Head of house John Ashby living at 712 Tehama St., San Francisco (June 1 1900 census).Records show that they married in 1893.Winnie born 1860 came to the states @ 19 in 1881 (or with brother when she was 14-16) from Ireland..Had 7 children, 4 still alive in 1900. John Hennessey b. 1883, Aug. and Edna Oct. 1886 (this is not the same date that is listed on her death certificate.) These are the only children listed living with them oncensus."This means that Winnie either came to the US already married or ?????"
