Hi Larry, Too bad you didn't include her maiden name. I could have looked her up in the 1930 Census.
If your death info is from the California Death Index, she died in San Bernardino Co. which is enormous and has MANY towns and cities. It's much more difficult to find an obituary when the death info is San Bernardino Co.
First let's assume she died in San Bernardino city, there is an obituary volunteer at freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~obitl/volca.html Scroll down to Sacramento Co and choose the fourth person listed.
If that search doesn't produce an obituary, you can ask other volunteers or order a copy of her death certificate to find out where she died. But then she might have died away from where she lived (hospital, vacation, etc.).
There is a volunteer for Chino, Ontario and Pomona on the same web page I mentioned above.
There is an obituary volunteer for Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Twenty-nine Palms and Joshua Tree area at www.geneasearch.com/lookups/ca.htm.
You can order a copy of her death certificate at County of San Bernardino Auditor-Controller-Recorder-Treasurer/Tax Collector, www.sbcounty.gov/acr/ . They are restrictive on who can order a certified copy. Ask them about a non-certified copy and if mark out [redact] information on a death cert. Successful Searching!
