DEATH AND FUNERAL NOTICES CHARLTON -- Sally Frances (Willis), died peacefully at her home in Poway, California on July 3rd, 1997 at the age of 82. She was born and lived in Arkansas until she moved to California to work in the shipyards during WWII. She was a kind lady with a sense of humor who loved to laugh at life. During her 50's, she took up bowling, and it became her passion. All of her friends and relatives are the recipients of the beautiful knitted and crocheted items that she lovingly crafter, but she was best known for her Southern-fried chicken and pecan pies. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Patrick, and is survived by her loving husband, Albert, her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Kitty, sisters, Lillian Hickerson and Luvegia Brown both of Hope, Arkansas, grandchildren, Douglas, David and Julie, a great-grandson, Calvin, many loving nieces and nephews, and scores of friends. We will miss her warm smile and the funny sayings that she used in her everyday speech. We love you. Services were held at the Poway-Bernardo Mortuary on July 5th.
