I am looking for further information of a George R. Harrison, born around 1854 to 1959, who lived in Healdsburg about 1905 and then seemed to be living in Sebastinpol in 1917. I checked the CA deathrecords and there doesn't seem to be a match.George was the son of Esther Daniels Harrison Babcock Parmley. His father may have been a George T. Harrison (not absolutely proven) but there is a Civil War widow;'s pension record for a Esther Harrison who was married to a George T. Harrison. The image is not clear, but George may have been in the Ohio Infantry and died early in the war. Esther was born in Ohio in 1838 but in the 1860 federal census for Walworth County, Wisconsin she is listed as a domestic in the James Babcock household as Esther Harrison age 22 years. Her son George is not listed. Babcock's wife died a month after the census and Esther married Babcock 6 months later. Babcock died in 1864 with two children born to this marriage, one being my ancestor. In 1865 Esther married a Curtis Parmley who died in 1882 and Esther lists her first born son, George R. Harrison, as living in Healdsburg in her will written in 1905 and he is listed as living in Sebastinpol when she died in 1917 in Rock County Wisconsin. I have no idea what happened to him thereafter, but he was present for the settling of the estate since his signature is on several documents. I would appreciate additional information so that I can try to fill in more blanks about Esther and maybe find out more information about her first husband.
