Obit for Ruby M. (TRAVIS) Worrell Robison
April 3, 1919 -- June 10, 2003
Ruby Mae Travis Worrell Robison, 84, of Sharon, Okla., died Tuesday at Seiling Municipal Hospital, Seiling, Okla.
Mrs. Robison was a native of Harmon County, Okla. She lived in Modesto 42 years before settling in Sharon in 1989. She and her husband, Archie Worrell, toured the country performing country music and she was an Avon sales representative in Modesto for 30 years. She was a member of Southern Persimmon Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling camping, fishing, deer hunting and horseshoes, at which she had been a state champion.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Robison of Sharon; daughter, Treva La Val of Ceres; stepchildren, John Robison of Billings, Mont., and Charles Robison of Garden City, Kan.; and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Archie M. Worrell; son, Loyd Worrell; four brothers; and one sister.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service, Woodward, Okla., in charge of arrangements.

Ruby W. Robison
A graveside service was held Tuesday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Ruby Worrell Robison, 84, of Sharon, Okla. The former South Modesto resident died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the Seiling Municipal Hospital in Seiling, Okla.
Services were arranged by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Woodward, Okla.
Born April 3, 1919, Mrs. Robinson was a native of Harmon County, Okla., and moved to Texas where she grew up. She was married to Archie M. Worrell in Clarendon, Texas on April 21, 1937. They performed country music across the country before settling in Modesto in 1947. She worked as an Avon sales representative for 30 years. After Archie died in 1983, she remarried to Fred T. Robison in 1987. She lived in Sharon since 1989.
Mrs. Robison was a member of the South Persimmon Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and hunting. At one time she won the state championship for horseshoe pitching.
She leaves behind her husband, Fred Robison of Sharon, Okla.; her daughter, Treva LaVal of Ceres; two stepsons, John Robison of Billings, Mont., and Charles Robison of Garden City, Kan.; four grandchildren, including Amber Martinez and Danielle Lageson, both of Ceres; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents, G.L. and Hallie M. Travis, and her son, Loyd Worrell, four brothers and one sister.
