Darrell's entry there doesn't give you anything exciting, unless you count a middle name, but Virdie's tells us her MMN was PIKE and Father's surname was JACKSON. Both entries have exact birth dates, too. =============================== Modesto Bee Sunday, October 13 1996 Page B-3 Virdie V. Perry [Spelled like that; it is Verdie on the CDI.] Virdie Vinita Perry, 87, of Modesto died Friday at Modesto Convalescent Hospital.

Darrell E. Perry Final services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel, Modesto, for Darrell E. Perry, 74, who died Tuesday in Modesto after a long illness.
Services will conclude at the chapel.
A native of texas, Perry had lived in Modesto 15 years.
He leaves his widow, Verdie [with the "e" this time] Perry of Modesto; six children, Dale Perry and Arlene Cagle, both of Modesto, Wayne Perry of Arizona, Treva Casdill and Kay Low, both of Bakersfield, and Sandra Smith of Arizona; two brothers, Jack of Sonora [Tuolumne County, CA] and Orrion Perry of New Mexico, and nine grandchildren. ============================================== Notes: Treva is CASDILL in Darrell's obit, CARDIEL in Verdie's. All of the other daughters have second husbands between the two obits, but I think Treva didn't and "CARDIEL" is a typo. You may know better than I.
I will send you the paper copies from the microfilm if you send me your postal address privately.
I'm not related. I look up obits here to repay some people who did me similar favors, and didn't need anything in my county. If you'd like to continue the chain, look up an obit or two in your county. The GenForum page for your county may have some requests.
