Patricia:Thanks for response.Actually John McDaniel and I met a couple of weeks back on the 1910 census. He is working forward to the present time on the Carsoner/Herzer lines, and I am working backward on the Carsoner/George and Carsoner/Dick line.
I have located and obtained a copy of the obit for Dan Carsoner (bd4-25-1909),Dan being the son of Tom Carsoner.
At first it was believed that Tom Carsoner (bd5-25-1869) was the son of Daniel Carsoner and Mary Anna Dick (Chalk-e-yet).But after obtaining the 1926 Indian Enrollment Applications for Tom and his children, it appears that Tom is the son of William CArsoner and Mary Anna Dick.
My interest in the line is that I have been researching the Casner/Carsner/Carsoner line to which William and Daniel CArsner/Carsoner belong. They were two of 13 children. Both were murdered in 1877 in the Palo Duro Canyon, TX.It has been so exciting to learn that one of them left descendants.
Are you connected to the line?If so, I would like to communicate with you direct - perhaps we can answer questions for one another.
My mother's family connects to the line in four different places - way too long to explain here.
