Teacher, missionary, 60 Mark E. Reames Jr. of Denver, a teacher and missionary, died Aug. 12 in Boulder. He was 60. A memorial service was Wednesday at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church. Reames was born April 12, 1934, in El Paso, Texas, and graduated from Denver's South High School. He graduated from Yale University in 1956 and received a master's degree from Harvard in 1960. On Sept. 2, 1960, he married Ruth Elizabeth Nelson. Reames was a teaching missionary for the United Methodist Church. With his wife, he founded the East Asian Student Encounter at Kwansei Gakuin University. He was president of the Colorado Chapter of the American Hemophilia Society.
