I am seeking a death record, obit notice, burial record for Frank Magers. In the 1940 US Federal census dated April 14, 1940, sheet 10B, line 46, Frank Magers is in Colorado, living alone in Adams County, Brighton, Colorado. He is listed as single, born in Illinois, age 68; no occupation is listed. When asked where his residence was as of April 1, 1935, as part of this 1940 census, his response is recorded as Adams County, Colorado. In the 1952 obituary in Jefferson, Iowa, for Frank's brother William, it states that William was preceded in death "by five brothers Charles, Elmer, John, Tilden, and Frank." So Frank Magers was deceased some time between April 1940 and May 13, 1952. His brother, Charles, died in Adams Co., Colorado, April 8, 1941, but his obit is brief and doesn't state anything about his brother Frank.
I am guessing that Frank remained in Colorado as a farmer, but am not certain. Checked the western genealogy on-line records at the Denver Library, with no luck. Cannot find Frank Magers' place of death or what happened to him. Nothing at Find-a-grave.
Any suggestions, clues, or help would be wonderful. Thanks.
