As a hobby, I rescue old photos and attempt to find family.
In a recent auction, I obtained three photos. One is of a violin, and written on it is:My father's violin. The second photo, is of a quartet. Two men and two women.Someone wrote on the front:Mr. Jacobs, Miss Davis, Mamma, Papaapproximately 1885.Mr. Jacobs holds a trumpet, Miss Davis a guitar, Mamma a cello and Papa, a violin. On the back, Mamma and Papa are identified as:Katherine H. Fitzpatrick and Andrew Peter Fitzpatrick.(Mimi's parents)1885.
The third photo is an unidentified female. To me, she looks like she might be Mamma, or maybe she's the daughter, Mimi?
The photographer was Dalgleish Bro. of Georgetown, Clear Creek Co, Colorado.
All I ask is what I paid for it and the expense of a mailer and postage.(Usually about $2.)
