Hello. I am not sure any of this will help you but .....
Biographical sketches of the graduates of Yale College : with annals of the college history Compiled by: Dexter, Franklin Bowditch New York: H. Holt and Co., 1912 page 4_307 Among other things we see on that page that Edward Selden & Sibyl May had removed from Haddam to Windsor in 1806 and that they had 6 daughters and 1 son, "the youngest daughter married the Rev Sylvester Eaton". Found the following to help corraborate that claim.
Connecticut Courant May 9, 1820; page 3 Married At Windsor, Rev. Sylvester Eaton to Miss Clarissa Selden.
To muddy the waters even more, I also found the following. Can't be the same Clarissa.
Canandaigua NY Ontario Repository March 30, 1819 Married In Palmyra, by Rev. Mr. Townsend, Mr. Levi Thayer, to Miss Clarissa Selden, of Windsor, Conn.
At least Levi's second wife Betsey was from Haddam Connecticut, see the following.
Geneva NY Gazette Advertiser October 1832 Married In Middle Haddam, Conn. Mr. Levi Thayer of Palmyra to Miss Elizabeth Selden, of the former place.
If you want, I can email to you all of the above newspaper notices and the book page.
