Hi again Albert: I guess I don't even remember William'sname except for the list of all the family. John I thought might have beenpossibility as Patrick's brother but I did not know that Lawrence was one too. Its now 11:20 Wednesday night and I have not slept since Sunday night, good old insomnia. I will be going to bed soon. When I'm like that I guess my brain gets fuzzy and I don't even realize it. I said I could not blow up the probate file large enough to read it on my machine. "Its old like me"!
Strangely enough I was born in Brooklyn and we moved to Connecticut when I was young. I lived in East Hartford and Hartford, came to Florida in 1970 and have been here since. Its a shame I didn't have this information then when I was close. I could have gone to Bridgeport and done my investigating 50 years ago. I really appreciate your help and now somehow I still need to find children of Lawrence and children of theirs to hopefully find my relatives.
I've only been on the computer since last January and I'm learning, not fast enough to suit me though. There are so many places I am not aware of or how to find and use them so it is taking me forever to find what I'm looking for. Ireland didn't start issuing birth certificates until 1864 and Patrick and his brothers were all born before then. I'm still trying to find out who his parents were and with no birth certificate to identify them I am at a loss. If you come across anything that might help please let me know. I apologize for not reading your message properly before. Thanks again for the help.
