JUMPING IN FRONT OF A TRAIN
BALTIMORE, Feb. 22.-Stephen Broadbent, Sr., a well-known citizen of Baltimore, formerly a member of the firm France & Broadbent, was killed this afternoon on the track of the Northern Central Railroad, within the limits of this city. It is stated that Mr. Broadbent inquired several times when the train would pass, and, as it came along while he was standing near the track, he pulled off his hat and threw himself on the rails and the train passed over him.
