Daniel Mason b DE ca 1774, son of Isaac Mason b 1728 DE and Catherine his wife,(father Isaac and Catherine were Quakers--Duck Cr. MM)wrote his will in 1852, and one portion of it dealt with the family cemetery.
I hereby authorize and direct my executors to enclose the old family burying ground on my farm called "Mason Farm" now in the tenure of Evan Morgan (all of the same ground which is now enclosed) with a substantial wall as follows:
The wall to be of hard brick eighteen inches thick from the foundation up to one foot above ground, then thirteen inches thick up to four feet above ground, Then the top to be capt with slab-stone witha wrought iron gate and fixtures; all to be done out of good materials and in workman-like manner; and the expenses of the same to be paid out of my estate."
Would anyone be able to pinpoint this cemetery?Masons lived in Mispillion Hundred in proximity to the Hall family.
