There is a biography of Edward Blake in "Lawmaking and Legislators in Pennsylvania," Vol. 1 (1682-1709).He was a member of the assembly from New Castle Co. from 1687-1694.He had one daughter by his first marriage and a daughter and a son (Edward) by his second marriage. It is that son Edward that ultimately I hope to track down. Edward Blake (father) was, according to this book, "an English Quaker turner..."He bought a house in New Castle in 1687, and later had a plantation on St. Georges Creek. Thanks for keeping me in mind... and good luck with your family research.
