Hi, to save traveling to Dover, you may wish to purchase the actual Land Record indices on microfilm. The DE Archives sells them, and you can then take to a local library that has a microfilm reader, and review them on your own schedule. They are only about $12 each, and you would want the Grantee and Grantor Indices for the letter "B" for whatever time frame you want (e.g. 1801 - 1850).These are a great investment.
The Archives can be emailed at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Make sure to search every conceivable spelling. If you locate a name of interest, you can order a copy of the actual probate record/will from the Archives, at the same email as above.
I would highly recommend the Tax Assessment Lists as well, also available on microfilm from the Archives.I just finished going through these, and as painful as it was to scroll through those hundreds of pages of faint writing, I found a wealth of information.
