In the 1930 Census the family of Lucious Godwin, born 1884, Lillion, born 1902, children: Jaspe, born 1920, Beatrice, born 1922, Lillian, born 1924, Pauline, born 1927, Laura, born 1928. I believe this is the son, Lucious F., of Samuel Godwin, born May 1845 in Louisana, mother, Louisa/Laura, born Aug 1859, siblings: William H., born Jan 1876, James A., born Aug 1878, Abbie C., Jan 1887, Tiny Dell, born April 1870, Sarah C., born March 1893, George Curtis, born 23 May 1897, Blanche, born 9 March 1903. I believe that there was a sister, Laura who I think married Washington Bell, on Dec 20, 1899. I know that she married a Bell. They lived on Normandy Blvd., in Jacksonville. They had a son, I don't remember his name and a daughter, Trecy. These two children lived across the road from their parents. In the 1920 Census Abby was married to M. S. Phillips, Aunt Tiny was living with them. Right next door was George Curtis Godwin, Myrtle, Archie, Hazel & Joyce. The 1920 Census was for precinct 24, Murray Hill. I would appreciate any infomation that you can give. Linda Jane Griffis, granddaughter of George Curtis & Myrtle Elaine Williamson Godwin.
