Funeral services for Leon C. Ross, 70, who died Wednesday and was a local railroad man, were Tuesday in the Buck Chapel with Dr. Joseph L. Gulick officiating.
Providing the music was Mrs. Lee W. Harmer with a violin solo and a vocal solo by Mrs. S. Lee Johnson.Miss Dessie Henry played the organ.
Active pallbearers were Veral Young, E. A. Wilkinson, Thomas Sutton, J. L. Thomas, Jack Scholmer and Ernst Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. J. M. Scholar, Marshall Scott, Charles Oden, Walter Felt, Alvin Denman and Paul T. Peterson.
Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery with the flag retreat by Bonneville Post 56 of the American Legion, the Elks raveside ritual by BPOE Lodge 1087, and under the direction of Buck Funeral home.
