Thanks, Amy for the update!I appreciate it. Yes, I think it is a little different when the bodies are moved.I am sure there was reason for it.Perhaps family members moved them to a family plot someplace. It just makes keeping track of the burials more of a challenge for us!
If you ever need anything else, or would like my cemetery transcriptions (already out of date since it was done in 2005) just let me know.I will send them to you. Also both English Funeral Home and Yates Funeral Home have websites and post current obits on line.Makes it nice for geneology.
The newspapers on film at NIC cover most of CDA.The CDA Press started about 1900 or so.Before that the local paper was the Kootenai County Republican which was from about 1898 to 1902.Copies are only 10 cents! NIC also has a fantastic book "Illustrated History of Northern Idaho" that was published in 1903.It is under lock and key but you can look through it with their permission.Or I found the book on line and downloaded it for free! Here is the website:http://www.archive.org/details/illustratedhisto00slwerichhttp://www.archive.org/details/illustratedhisto00slwerich
