1840 census (heads of households only) Jacob Hopper...one male child under 5....one male 10-15.....three 15-20.....And Jacob listed a between 40-50.........two female children 5-10 ....and one female between 30 and 40 which is probably Lovina There is also a John Hopper listed as a head of house hold in 1840

Dudley 35 from Ky. Jane 32 from Va., Rachael 9 Il., Talitha 7 Il. George 5 Il. Harvey 1mo. from Il. I could not find Jacob in Coles County in this census.He lived until 1878 and his wife lived until 1863 so they may have moved out of the county.? or were simply missed by the census.
