I have the Census records that you sent w/the exception of N. Orleans. Had been told they were out there but could not locate that Census....thanks! **** Cinci Directory shows Cecelia Cochran (Lutie's Mother) to be residing at above address from 1880-86. She ran a boarding home. Although it shows Samuel W.P. and Cecelia as adopting Harry, it was Lutie whom mothered him.
As I had noted in a prior email, Harry had written a story about an orphaned boy that I believe to be Harry. The boys grandmother (believed to be Cecelia Cochran) makes reference to not being his real grandmother, but rather, he is the child of her niece.
