Hi Kathy, I have an old Crawford Co. history book, that has your A.T.Mail in it. He is known as Albert Thomas, he married Nettie Hedden, of Robinson, and they have two boys and a girl. This information comes under the listing of Isaac Doll Mail Sr.( it starts off with ) he was among the distinguished men of Crawford Co., IL, and one who has taken a prominent part in the upbuilding and development of this part of the state, is the venerable Isaac Doll Mail Sr., at one time Associate Judge of Crawford Co., as well as county treasurer, who is a native of the Co.,being born 4 miles southeast of Robinson, March 6, 1831. He was a son of Frederick Mail, who was born about 1805, 4 miles southeast of Vincennes, Indiana. and his father was one of the first settlers under the French in this locality. Frederick came here about 1828, settling in La Motte twnshp. he died about 1871, and was buried on the Wyatt Mills farm in La Motte. (there is more info about him, but to much to type. i will give you the important stuff right now) Frederick married Louisa McGahey (daughter of David McGahey of TN) Louisa died about 1870. their children are: David Marlin b. June 10,1829 d. abt 1856 Isaac Doll b. March 6,1831 John T. b. 1843 Isaac D. Mail married Mary P. Boatright in 1855. they have had seven children: Julia, Marlin, Albert Thomas, Virginia, John F., Isaac D.Jr.,.
