October 19, 1850 Waukegan, Lake County, Illinois Census, 472/500, Paul Kingston, age 68, laborer, value of real estate $800, born in Ireland, wife Mary, age 65, born in New York.
In 1857, Paul Kingston lost his business, when he went security for a friend (family history).
In 1860, Paul Kingston was, age 78, a farmer, living with his merchant son John T. Kingston and John’s family. (No Mary).
What I know:
Paul Kingston was born February 01, 1783 in possibly Bantry, of County Cork of Ireland (some say London, England). He died January 07, 1864 in Necedah, Juneau County, Wisconsin at age 80 years, 11 months, and 6 daysand is buried in the Bay View Cemetery, Necedah, Juneau County, Wisconsin with his son Senator John T. and daughter-in-law Hannah and some of their children; he married Isabella Garretson (some say 'Mary' Isabella Garretson) born in 1780 (some say about 1782 or 1784) in Ohio County, Virginia (some say in Ireland – but incorrect) and died after 1819 (looking at census records this author supposes that she died between 1830 and 1840 in Fulton County, Illinois (1830) or Lake County (1840) of Illinois) (some say Necedah, Juneau County, Wisconsin). They were married February 09, 1810 in St. Clair County, Illinois.
This author supposes that Paul Kingston possibly married second Mary born 1785 in New York – married before 1850 (on 1850 Census Waukegan, Lake County, Illinois) in probably Illinois, if this is the correct Paul Kingston.
Any help with Paul and Mary Kingston would be greatly appreciated. firstname.lastname@example.org
