We're looking for the ultimate destiny of Sophia N. Brown.
Sophia was born 05 Oct 1841, in Harrison County Indiana, to
Benjamin Brown b. 1807 TN and Elizabeth Spears b. 1802-1805 NC.
Benjamin and Elizabeth had been married in 1825 in White County Tennessee, and migrated to Harrison Co IN (abt 1829), and to Fulton Co IL (abt 1842-1844).
The last we know of Sophia N. Brown, in 1860, she was living with the Edwin McGehee family, in Liverpool Twp, Fulton Co IL, as a domestic:
BROWN SOPHIA19 F W TN FULTON LIVERPOOL TWP 1860
That's the last we have ever known of her.
Some of her elder siblings moved to Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas, but we can't find that she's living with any of them in 1870, nor can we find evidence of a marriage in any of those states that seems to coincide with our Sophia.
