Hi Sara, I received my GGGrandfather's "Civil War Muster and Descriptive roll," and also a copy of a page from the "1929 Ilinois Roll of Honor."Both were obtained from the Illinois State Archives in Springfield, Illinois.Sorry but the 1929 Roll of Honor page they sent to me starts with Dempster, James H. and ends with Mitchell, James, KANE County. You need to know the Company and Unit #, and the Archives will send the infomation for a small fee.($1 for 2 copies, I believe).
Try the Illinois State Archives website to look for info, and also to make an online request for information.
