Seeking Caniel Corley descendants

Does anyone know of any Corley Researchers in SHELBY COUNTY or SHELBYVILLE, IL?I used to be in contact with Kledus Corley of Shelbyville, but I assume she has long since passed away as she was older back in the 80's when were wrote.



I'm trying to decide if I want to do the DNA test.I'm a descendant of SALLY FINLEY named in CANIEL CORLEY'S will, but their "relationship" is not stated.

I understand that IF I do an paternal DNA Y-Chromosome test and it shows I'm a CORLEY descendant, this would indicate Caniel was the father of Sally's siz children.

Are there ANY direct male-line descendants of Caniel Corleywho have had the DNA test run?(unbroken male line through Jonathan Cheatham Corley, Sallathiel Corley or William Corley)

OR any male-line descendants of Valentine Corley (of Cumberland Co., VA d-1803).These would be through his son ASA CORLEY, WILLIAM CORLEY, JAMES CORLEY and of course, CANIEL CORLEY.
