Stanley Kington divorced his wife, Maxine, on 13 May 1954 in Monmouth.Several newspaper articles later mentioned that he was a restaurant operator in Roseville.
Some sources give Maxine's full name as Lora Maxine, and that she married Samuel S. Thurman on 14 May 1955.His last residence according to the SSDI was in Monmouth.Sources say he died in Galesburg, and was buried at Abingdon cemetery.I haven't been able to find anything more specific concerning Maxine, whether she survived Samuel, or if they remained married after her father's death in 1973.A good place to follow up would be Samuel's obit, which I don't have access to at the moment.
At the time of her father's death, Maxine was married to Samuel Thurman, and was living in Monmouth.Here is his obit, from the Galesburg Register-Mail, dated 3 October 1973:
WALTER HUSTON ROSEVILLE - Walter Huston, 92, of Roseville, died Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at his home.
He was born July 28, 1881, in Roseville Township, and married Millie Adkisson on Oct. 23, 1915.She died March 29, 1965.
Surviving are two sons, Duane and Dale, both of Roseville; three daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Maxine) Thurman, Monmouth, Mrs. Bernard (Susan) Billeter, Good Hope, and Miss Ruth Huston, Roseville, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Corman Memorial Home,Roseville, with Rev. Robert Bryan, pastor of Roseville Christian Church, officiating.Burial will be at Roseville Cemetery.Visitation will be this afternoon and evening and Thursday untilthe hour of the service.Memorials may be made to the LaMoine Christian Nursing Home, the family said.
