Several years ago, someone sent me an electronic image of a small piece of paper that I believe contains info on the family of Benjamin Debord and Nancy Summers from NC who lived in White county from the 1820's through at least the1850's. Several of their daughters show in the marriage records for White County, but I have not been able to find further info on most of these families. Here's my transcription of the note.Would love to share info with anyone that has knowledge of any of these families.

Clark Was Born March 11, 1835 Charles F.. Clark Was Born Aug 20 1841 (HLD's Note: at bottom and in different handwriting ) My granfathers famley Martha E. DeBord
I believe this is the family of the Nancy Debord or Deboard age 64 or 69 b NC and William H. Debord age 18 that shows on the 1850 census for White county IL, Grayville precient. William Hadley DeBord was born 2 June 1832 in Norris City and died 1914 in Cass Co Iowa. Wm married Martha E. Clark on 1 Jan 1866 in Plattville, Grant Co Wisc; Wm may have had a previous marriage in White county in 1852. Martha Clark DeBord died 1934 in Atlantic Iowa.I believe the info on the Clark family above may have been written by Marthat before her death in 1934; not sure of the source of the Debord info but possibly earlier. The Forrister should prob be Forrester; don't know about the Bertis surname.Delpha? is probably Philadelphia. All of the other surnames are common in the early days of White county.
I have a little bit on the family of John Calvin DeBord and William Hadley DeBord; and some of the marriages for the female DeBords. Does anyone have any info on the other families? What about the Clark family? Not sure they were ever in White county.
PS: I'm collecting and compiling info on the Debord surname, various spellings, and not just my own line. Would love to share info on the various Debord, Deboard, DeBorde, etc families around White and Hamilton.
