I am not sure of the parents of Elizabeth J. (or L) Bolerjack b abt 1827 in Illinoisthat married John Caleb Deboard (1826-1864) in 1844 in White Co Illinois. At one time, I had assigned her parents as John E. Bolerjack (1795-1857) and Lucy Forrester (1793-1872). But I later found the 1860 Hamilton Co Illinois census that listed Elizabeth age 26 b Illinois listed in the household of John Bowlajack age 52 and Lucy age 56.But, since your Elizabeth was married in 1844, I have decided that was probably a different Elizabeth Bolerjack. The 1840 White Illinois census for John Bolerjack shows 4 females that appear to be daughters and those 4 females appear to be accounted for in the 1850 Hamilton census.
Based on circumstantial evidence, I have since concluded that the most likely parents of your Elizabeth Bolerjack were possibly Joel H. Bolerjack (1800-1849) and Rebecca Forrester (1805-1891) married 1820 in White. Both Rebecca Forrester Bolerjack and John Caleb Deboard are buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery in White Co.The 1840 White Illinois census for Joel Bolerjack does show several females (ie prob daughters) that I have not accounted for.
