Thank you for your assistance, but herein lies the problem....I am asking for the parents of this James "A." Rodman, because I don't believe his middle initial is "A". It doesn't appear on his tombstone, census records or Civil War record. I would like to know the parents of both men who were born in Indiana.
I do know that JAMES RODMAN (note: no middle initial "A") married Elizabeth Bradewell/Bridwell or similar spelling. This record is correct, but what is the source for the middle initial shown as "A"?
James A Rodman Birth 30 Sep 1827 in Newport, Vermillion, Indiana Death 28 Dec 1872 in Newport, Vermillion, Indiana he married - Elizabeth Bradewell Birth Nov 1829 in Indiana Death 3 Oct 1907 in Green City, Hickory, Missouri
I do not readily accept family records posted online without verifiable sources. The record below has no link to the source which shows BOTH parents were 83 when James was born in 1827, which is not acceptable.
his parents - Alexander Kell Rodman >>Birth 01/01/1744 Death 01/01/1864 in , , Indiana Millian Mills [mother] >>Birth 1744 in Indiana, USA Death 1787 [can't die before James is born in 1827]
