Cerebral hemorrhage caused the sudden death at 9 o’clock Saturday night of Mrs. Martha Jane Neff at her home 904 South Meridian Street. Mrs. Neff was born in Bath Co. Kentucky, August 10 1834 and was consequently seventy years, 6 months and twenty-five days old. She was married in July 1858 to John Neff. Two children Jesse and John survive her. _____________member of the Central Christian church of this city and was also a charter member of Ruth Rebekah lodge No.2. The funeral was held at the residents, 904 South Meridian Street, at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. L.E. Brown officiating. Burial at Oak Hill, the Rebekah lodge having charge of the funeral. Lebanon Reporter. Mrs. Neff was a sister to Harvey Jacks of Jamestown.
