By terms of this contract she shall be entitled to the sum of $1,000 out of his estate in the event she shall survive him, this sum in lieu and full of all the interest she otherwise would have in his estate as his surviving widow, including her statutory claim of $500.Mr. Bowman surrenders all interest he otherwise would have in law in her separate estate, in the event he should survive her as her husband. It further provides in the contract that if they shall be unable to live as husband and wife because of domestic infelicity, then she is not to have the $1,000 mentioned above or any of the interest in his estate, provided, however, that if their failure to live together is wholly the fault of Mr. Bowman, she shall be entitled to the $1.000.
