Dave, Jeff e-mailed me back tonight and he didn't know right off the top of his head about the Thomas, John, and Noah Norris you had in your query. He said he would look it up.He ALSO told me he is changing his e-mail address yet again, so I am going to send him an e-mail and copy you and you two can get in touch.I know very little about the Norris connection except that Rebecca married John H. Norris.Jeff has done a good deal of research, so you two should be able to help each other out. One thing, I was looking back through my Wayne Co., OH info on this family and I found two things which might be of interest to you unless you have them already.I had found an abstract of a will for a John Norris (who I originally thought was the one that Rebecca married, but wasn't) whose will was probated in Ashland Co.,OH in 1846.It mentioned children but only named Sarah, Rebecca, and William. Also, in the 1840 census of Wayne Co., OH, William Norris is on the same page as the Cuthbertsons. There were 4 males and two females in the household. In the 1820 census there was an Elias Norris , 2 males one female, and in the 1810 census there was an Amos Norris.I also have a partial listing of the land patents in Wayne Co., but mine cuts off before it gets to Norris.....it tells where the buyer was from.I also have various tax lists but they are in alphabetical order and I only copied what I needed to get the Cuthbertson part.So that's all I have, but will put you in touch with Jeff. P.S. It never crossed my mind that any Norrises in Wayne Co., OH made it to our part of Indiana. The Tiltons came in the 1850s to Cass County, IN.
