All I know for sure is that Sarah Armstrong married William C. Marsh in Harrison Co., Indiana on May 29, 1823. [Marriage Book A-2, Harrison Co. Courthouse, Corydon, IN ARMSTRONG SARAH MARSH WILLIAM HARRISON 5-28-1823]
William C. Marsh was the son of Jesse Charles Marsh & Margaret Holliday and the grandson of Capt. William Marsh & Elizabeth Cornwallis.
These people are all buried in the Marsh Family Cemetery in Laconia, Indiana.
Sarah Armstrong was born inBrandenburg, Meade, Kentucky about 1801......she married in 1823......and she died in 1865.
On the 1820 census there are exactly 4 men listed on the census for Harrison Co., Indiana.....two are Georges and then there is a James and a Joseph. I believe James is way too young to be her parent so that leaves three men....... that is of course if her parents lived in Harrison Co., IN.
There was a George Armstrong in Jessamine Co., KY in 1810 and coincidently Jesse Marsh was in Jessamine Co. at that time also .....

None of this proves anything of course....and Sarah could very well be George's sister even......anything is possible.
I had hoped some other Marsh or Holliday researchers would be looking for her famiy also and would have a clue....but so far her family is in hiding.
