Stacey, William's full name was William Patrick Mulliken born 2/1842, died 17 Mar.1927 so its the right one. Yes, I would LOVE to have his obit as it may give me some clues on his family.
My great-great-gram, Mary J. Johnston Blacksten/Blackstone Milliken b. 4/4/1839, died Oct. 23, 1921 in Polk Co., Mena, AR and I have a death certificate showing that her body was sent by train to Kokomo, "date of removal 11/1/1921." Not sure if that means when she was shipped? I suppose she would have arrived in Kokomo about 4-5 days later so her records in Indiana could be the actual date of burial or the date of death in AR...not sure. I did find a Mary Milliken death recorded location as Ervin Twp., date shown as Nov. 26, 1920. Not sure if that's her because it says 90 years of age but she was 82 and she died in 1921, not 1920. Could be an error from a headstone that had faded lettering. The Ancestry.com records show the source as County Health office, Kokomo. Quite often, a county board of health has a vital statistics dept. that holds such records. I appreciate any info you can give. I hope to be able to find/visit her grave if I get back to Indiana. Thanks.
