The Eleutherian College was founded in 1848and will be open and displays set up for visitors to see. I have been asked to bring down my research on some of the area families and on doing research online. I am also taking some family heirlooms such as my GGG Grandfathers gun hecarried when he was in the Indiana Legion and was involved in defending the areaduring Morgan's Raid. Lancaster is on IN 250 just off Hwy 7 between North Vernonand Madison. It is just over the Jennings County line in Jefferson County.
