Thomas W. Redden PA and Matilda Kepler OH.My Thomas seems to be skillful at missing census.I have not found him in even one unless he could turn out to be the Thomas Reading in 1850 White Co., IN.If so, that would be the only one.
After searching for many years, recently, thanks to the IN web site, I stumbled across two daughters in Marshall Co., IN.Matilda Redden b. ca 1852 IN m. 27 Nov 1869 to Newton Walker. They were also in the 1880 census of Union township before moving on to Lonoke Co., AR.The other dau, Nancy Redden b. 7 Aug 1856, m. to Hiram Saylor on 2 May 1877 in Marshall Co., IN then moved to 1880 Lonoke Co., AR census.
My line of Mary E. Ann Redden b. 2 Apr 1860 IN was a school teacher. She had told my mom about loving growing up in IN.I thought perhaps, if a school teacher while in IN, that would be recorded.First found on father, Thomas W. Redden, was his 1881 land deed in Lonoke Co., AR.
The full Redden family: Matilda, Fannie, Nancy, Alfred, Mary E. Ann all born in IN.
As far as the Kepler, who knows.I found a Matilda Kepler b. 1830 OH in 1850 Madison Co., IN living with a John Davis, Lawyer, family. So have no idea if she is kin the Kepler family I have just come across in Marshall County.
If they are in your book, I thank you very much! Jo
