north Hungary? "SATORALJAUHELY" ,sorbs
I have been in conversation with "Imre" in Hungary.
He states that his great grand father came from an area in "now Slovakia" near the Tatras.
He said the surname was "Mudrak" [or a spelling that phonetically would sound like Mudrac?] as was the grandfather.
This was around 1888 the grandfather "Josef Mudrak" was about 1924?At that time,it was A/H empire, and this area was known as north Hungary??? father was Mikhal Mudrak? We were corresponding live on Skype.. I was talking with my mic and headphones, he could hear me, but he doesn't have a micas yet.He had to type his messages and I would vocally answer.Imre said something about "SATORALJAUHELY" and something about the "sorbs territory"Can anyone help me out about this? Also Imre said that the family came from the "Vatanno Csemerje" area of now Slovakia.I tried to locate this area on one of my maps.I have 9 very detailed maps when put together form a collage of Slovakia.1:100,000 scale.so they are very detailed. The closest site I found was "Vranov nad Topl'oo" on highway 18 east of "Propad"When I told Imre this he said that would be the Slovak name???In the local LDS FHC there are a number of microfilm FHL INTL 1739193,-4, ...5, of Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic microfilmed records.and files 1739455
