Hi Tim, I don't know if our REA families are connected or not, but some of the years and places match up. I've been trying to find out more about my gg grandfather Alonzo ("Lonnie") REA.I read somewhere in our family archives that he died in Marceline, Missouri but... I have no idea whatsoever what he was doing there.I figure that he must have been on a vacation or away from home on business. I know that my REA family lived in Champaign (Urbana)Illinois area and Terre Haute, IN area for quite some time, after coming from Ohio and Pennsylvania.
My g grandfather, Marion Thomas REA was a farmer and he also lived in Jackson, MN (for a short time).
I don't have any solid information any further back than Alonzo ("Lonnie") REA, but I'm hoping that maybe you (or someone else that reads this) can help me with this proverbial brick wall that I've been up against for so many years!
This is my REA / RAY family. Let me know if any of it looks familiar to you.
