Brick wall driving us nuts! Oliver was brother of our great grandmother Mary Olivia Waggner(b. 1845 Baltimore MD) m. Thomas Alexander Crawford (b.1845 Grafton W VA)in 1866 Baltimore MD. Oliver moved to LA between 1870-1880. Was last republican sheriff and tax collector Jefferson Parish from 1880-1890. In 1891 he worked for Schlesinger Gust & Co. as a boot and shoe salesman. He married Louisa Bartels (date unknown). The swinging bridge between Gretna and Barataria was named for him (Waggner Bridge). We seek info on him as well as on Mary Olivia. She was widowed we think in 1878 in Baltimore and our info says she came to LA where she remarried a man named (UNKNOWNIglehart) They had a son named Arthur . Children of Thomas A. and Olivia were George Thomas b. 1867 , Charlotte b. 1870, Edward Fisher b. 1872 (our grandfather)Ella b. 1878, Walter (no info) and Jenny who died when small child of fall from a wagon.Would appreciate any information on Olivia, Oliver, Thomas Alexander Crawford and Arthur Iglehart.
