I couldn't find Minyard in the 1910 census, so I assume he died after 1900.I checked the Alabama Death Index (1908-1959), and did not see a listing for Minyard, so he likely died between 1900 and 1907.There are no statewide Alabama death listings for that time period, but you may be able to find a death certificate or will of his from Dekalb County. This could indicate other family members -- ancestors, siblings, nieces or nephews. You might also check to see if any local newspapers from that time period have archives that might list obituaries.
Good luck!
Karen
