I will notice for this Richard. They could have come on the Day wagon train. Last child in Al in 1842 and the wagon train in 1846. The group in Lowndes/Dallas (the line moved) were Rev Soldiers. The ones that were kin to the Days were Pierce, Grumbles, and Pillgreen that I can remember. It is easy to pick out some of the group by looking at the birthdates on the 1850 Census. William Day is buried at Sisters Springs Batist Church Cemetery which is out of Mt Whilling, in the Selma area.
