Yes, I have seen an Abner, an Aaron, and an Abraham, but none of them in the right time period or geographic locations to fit my time line.I do think that those might be possibilities, but that only helps me if I can determine A.D.'s son with the initials T.W. could possibly be the William Thomas Ratcliff, b. 1841, who married Miranda Dunn in 1866, whose daughter Jane Ratcliff, b.1870 , married William Wiley Bass, Jr., b. 1866.
I have seen that information about Eli Ratcliff in the Catahoula Conveyances Book. That had originally led me to search out the possibility that Eli was William Thomas's father;however, with information I received about the Texas Census, Eli never shows up in Louisiana or Texas with a son named William or Thomas. So I have ruled him out as the father of my great-great grandfather; Now that I have the information about A.D. and his son T.W. born in 1841, that time line and geography fit;I just need help with the names and some more family to fill in the gaps.
