Joseph Raymond, twin of Russell John, was the State Secretary of Labor in the Louisiana Department of Labor from 1975.He was appointed by Governor Edwin Edwards and stayed in the position for many years and was quite successful.He served in World War II and later served in the 4225th Logistic Command of the U. S. Army reserves, rising to the rank of Colonel in 1971. When the M*A*S*H movie premiered and the television series ended, articles were written about Joseph's experiences in similar MASH units during the wars.
