William T. Cason could easily be the son of Triplet Cason and his wife, Martha. The age would fit.Triplett was the son of Thomas Cason and Ann Lewis .Could William "T" be Thomas for his grandfather?
William T. Cason also named a son Edward.Triplett's paternal grandfather was Edward Cason.
1782 Thomas moved his family from Halifax Co., VA to Laurens Co., SC.
1793 toto Edgefield District, SC
and they arrived in Wilkinson Co., MS before February 11, 1811.
Triplett's wife, Martha, supposedly died in Walton Co., Georgia.
They had a son, Thomas, b. 1797 m. Ann Withers
and a daughter, Martha, b. April 10, 1808 SC m. Merida "Meriday" Camp. She died Walton Co., Georgia
The courthouses in southern Louisiana have execellent records, so I would assume the northern parishes would, too.You might contact the Bienville Parish Courthouse in Arcadia, LA to obtain a copy of a marriage license or certificate.
