Funeral services for Esther Mary Larratt, 72, of Nampa who died Saturday, August 13, 1994, at her daughter's home of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 1994, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.Bishop Dallas Hess of the Nampa 7th Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate.Burial will follow in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Esther Mary Larratt was born on April 16, 1922, at Lynn, Massachusetts, a daughter of Michael and Flora I. Newhall Schillaci.She was the youngest and only daughter of seven children.She married George C. Larratt on April 7, 1949, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.They moved from state to state as her husband was transferred while in the Navy.She raised three children. When she was 58, and after George retired from 30 years of Navy service, they moved to Nampa from Ontario, CA.She and her husband worked as paper carriers for the Idaho Press-Tribune until the time of her death.Esther was loved by many people she came to know on her routes. She became a friend to many people in south Nampa, who admired her kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness. She enjoyed collecting dolls and crocheting. Survivors include her husband, George C. Larratt of Nampa; a son and daughter-in-law, George C. Jr. and Lydia Larratt of Ontario, CA; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jesse Floyd of Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Jay Beavore of Deer Lodge, MT; a daughter, Peggy Coffelt of Nampa; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Earl and Carol Larratt of Ridgewood, GA; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
