Thanks so much for all the fantastic MERRILL & KNAPP family information. I appreciate the time & effort you put into the research. Coincidentally only yesterday I discovered the 1804 death date for Sukey Knapp and figured that there had to have been 2 Sukeys (Susans). I had a Knapp book reference to the daughter of John Knapp & Mary Davis marrying Nathaniel Merrill (see below) but all those family trees on the web with Sukey Knapp 1805-1805 had me worried. The clincher was the 1860 Georgetown MA census that linked Nathaniel & Susan Merrel with John Twombly & Rebecca Knapp 53 (daughter of John & Mary Knapp?)
BTW Found this intriguing record on the daughter of Nathaniel Merrill & Susan Knapp:
Susan Knapp, d. adopted, Nathaniel, bp. Sept. 14, 1834. CR5
Now I can concentrate on John Frank Twombly b 11 Jun 1830 North Berwick, ME to John Towmbly & Nancy Stacy (deadend so far). Thanks again for your help.
